Julianne Arena M.D.

Personal:Dr. Arena grew up in Hingham. She is the mother of two children and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Anne-Marie Armstrong M.S.N., C.N.M.
Undergraduate:B.S.N. Northeastern University
Graduate:M.S.N. Northeastern University
Experience:Anne-Marie Armstrong, C.N.M. graduated as an R.N. and as a certified nurse midwife in England. Anne-Marie worked in labor and delivery as an R.N. at Atlantic Care Medical Center in Lynn and at New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham. In 1991 she attended a re-certification program in nurse midwifery for foreign-trained midwives. She joined the practice in 1994. She is also certified as an adult nurse practitioner.
Personal:She is an avid runner.

 

Deborah Z. Carlson M.S.N, C.N.M.
Undergraduate:B.S.N. SUNY, Albany
Graduate:M.S.N. in Midwifery, University of Kentucky, Lexington
Experience:Upon graduation from SUNY Albany, she moved to El Paso, Texas where she was an Army OB/GYN nurse. Debbie continued in the military as a nurse midwife until 1994. She then moved to the South Shore where she has thoroughly enjoyed midwifery in private practice and at South Shore Hospital.
Personal:Debbie has a busy household with three children, two dogs and three cats! She enjoys folk music, walking and cross stitching in her free time.

 

Keri M. Cloherty M.D.

Medical School:George Washington University School of Medicine
Residency:She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. 
Certification:She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

 

Christine Dailey Hirsemann M.D.

Residency:Tufts New England Medical Center
Personal:Dr. Dailey is originally from South Boston. She enjoys being a mother and spending time with her family and friends.

Kimberly Dever M.D.

Residency:Walter Reed Medical Center
Personal:Dr. Dever served in the military as a physician prior to returning to Massachusetts. She is the mother of four children and is interested in laparoscopic surgery.

Janice DiGioia M.S.N., C.N.M.
Undergraduate:Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Alfred University, 1979
Graduate:M.S.N. in Midwifery, University of Kentucky, 1984
Experience:Following several years as a labor and delivery nurse, she spent a year working for the Indian Health Service, Navajo Reservation in Arizona. Janice began a nurse-midwifery practice at Cape Cod Hospital and has been practicing on the South Shore since 1993.

Darlyne A. Johnson M.D.

Personal:Dr. Johnson is the mother of two children. She enjoys music and all types of crafts.

Nannette Landry M.S.N., C.N.M.
Undergraduate:Boston University School of Nursing
Graduate:She worked for many years as a labor and delivery nurse and childbirth educator before graduating from Columbia University Graduate Program in Nurse-midwifery. 
Personal:She established the first Midwifery service at South Shore Hospital in 1987.  She is a member of the adjunct clinical faculty at the Boston University School of Public Health

 

Susan Lincoln M.D.
Undergraduate:Brown University
Medical School:University of Cincinnati College of Medicine
Residency:Boston City Hospital
Personal:Dr. Lincoln was named as a 'Top Doctor" by Boston Magazine in 2006. She is married and the proud mother of four children.
Certification:American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 


 

Jean M. MacBarron CNM, MPH
Undergraduate:She has a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University and completed her nursing degree at Bristol Community College.
Graduate:Jean MacBarron is a graduate of Boston University School of Public Health Nurse Midwifery program.
Experience:She worked as a community health nurse in prenatal care and gynecology and practiced as a nurse-midwife in Rhode Island.

 

Cynthia MacLachlan M.S.N., W.H.N.P.
Undergraduate:B.A. University of Connecticut
Graduate:R.N. and M.S.N. MGH Institute of Health Professions
Experience:She worked as an R.N. at Massachusetts General Hospital in Gyn Oncology and then as an N.P. at Boston University student health services before joining South Shore Women's Health.
Personal:She enjoys hiking, yoga and spending time with her family and friends. She is certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and an Adult Nurse Practitioner.

 

Julie Paul M.S.N., C.N.M.
Undergraduate:Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Saint Anselm College
Graduate:M.S.N., Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing
Personal:Julie moved to Scituate to join South Shore Women's Health in 2006. She enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick and their two children. In her spare time she enjoys running.

 

Maureen Sullivan B.S.N., W.H.N.P.

Planned Parenthood N.P. Program, Philadelphia, PA
Experience:Following several years working at South Boston Community Health Center, she worked at Boston Medical Women's Center and Dorchester Community Multi-Service Center.
Personal:Enjoys ballroom dancing and spending time with family and friends.

 

Mary Trabulsi M.S.N., C.N.M.
Undergraduate:Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Curry College, Milton, Massachusetts
Graduate:She is a graduate of the Nurse Midwifery program at the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Personal:Mary and her husband Larry recently moved back from Chicago and currently reside in Weymouth.
